Little Skeeter is Looking for his Forever Home!

This loving little guy is available as a companion to a loving forever home. Both of his parents are AKC grand champions who have been health tested and are well trained, quiet and friendly. He is litter box trained and has all appropriate vaccinations. 

He is used to traveling in a crate as he started to go to work with me in an office building from 5 weeks old. He is well socialized and has had a good start on life. 

The fawn girl in the picture is the mother and the cream boy (the last photo) is the father. All Kalliope puppies begin litter box training at 3 weeks old. It is a rare occurrence for a Kalliope chihuahua to be available as I breed very few litters. But I don't need an extra boy from this litter so someone will be lucky!

Wally Is Serious About the Business of Looking for His New Family

Wally is a fun loving sweet little boy. It is unusual for a Kalliope Chihuahua puppy to be available and this is no exception. Little Wally is one that I would probably have shown to his championship but for campaigning Never. So since it's really hard to show a class long coat boy at the same time as I am campaigning a Champion, I am making little Wally available to the right companion home as a baby puppy rather than growing him up.

Wally is already doing really well using his litter box and is nearly weaned. He's a good eater! And he's playful and cuddly and hoping for just the right lap! Let me know if you think he might be a good addition to your family!

Kalliope Hits the Shows 2017

I continue to be pitiful at updating this blog. 2017 has been an extremely positive year. 2 of the 3 puppies I kept to show have finished their championships and Marty only needs 2 single points. The Chihuahua Club of America National was a blast and my boy, BISS GCH CH Knockout Never Say Never won Best of Opposite to Best of Breed at a Specialty show and an award of merit at the national. Abi,  CH Kalliope American Beauty won Best Bred By Exhibitor as well. So much fun. I am hoping for a litter this fall from GCH CH Knockout Painted Lady (mother of Abi and Marty.) I don't have puppies available of my own at this time, but I may know of something, so feel free to reach out to me at kalliopechihuahua@gmail.com if you are looking for a new family member!

 

Frankie Found His Perfect Home

It is rare that a Kalliope Chihuahua puppy is available. But this could be your lucky day! Frankie is a darling boy! He is happy and outgoing and friendly. He is thoroughly litterbox trained.

Frankie is AKC registered and both of his parents are health tested champions. He will be about 6 pounds when he is fully grown and available to a pet home with a neuter contract only. 2016 - Rudy has a really really perfect home!

Rudy is such a love! I am really having trouble with this one, but he deserves a family who will be as devoted to him as he will be to them. He is the most loving, special, friendly chihuahua. He is a year old. Rudy finished his championship last July after only showing for a couple of months. But he never really grew and weighs in at a mighty 3.5 lbs. Also his ears are a bit soft so they flop too much to have a further show career. I don't really want to use him for breeding, and I'm having trouble coming up with excuses to keep him, so it is with sadness that I have decided to place him. Let me know if you are interested

Gideon has found his new home!! :)

Meet Gideon! Such a sweet boy!! He started a show career but really doesn't like to show. He's done some winning because he very much wants to please, but it doesn't make sense to continue when he's not happy in the ring. Gideon is 7 months old, very healthy and athletic! He's a very sweet boy who loves to play and loves to cuddle.

He's SO desperate to have a person to call his very own. He is leash trained, pee pad trained, crate trained, (also goes outdoors, even in bad weather). He is very used to having his nails trimmed and his teeth brushed and actually kind of likes to have his bath (the GOOD part of having a retired show puppy!!) He is a very clean dog but will need reinforcement on his indoor training. It is SUPER important to me that the next home is the last home he will ever have! So if you can picture yourself with this little cutie by your side for the next 10 or 15 years, contact me!! :)
